Hi all. Wanting to build an 80 for 5.56. Looking online there's just an overflow of retailers for block lowers offering high/superior quality lowers for your ar that can go from $50-100+. Is there really a difference in quality if the lower is verified as Mil-Spec? I dont want to purchase a product that will break on me in the future. Can anyone point to experience or a company with repute? Thanks

I like the ones made by Cerro Forge. They have a key hole forging mark on them and are sold my many manufacturers.

You're looking for the lower to be made of 7075-T6 alloy. Cheaper ones are made of 6061.

    Milspec what? Milspec finish?
