So I buy a gun tomorrow do I have to set up an account online?
Interesting enough, I logged out and back in. The list of applications does not have an expiration date. Also, now where did it ask me for a credit card.
I would suggest setting up the account and starting an application prior to going to the shop if you are planning to purchase a regulated firearm tomorrow. So I buy a gun tomorrow do I have to set up an account online?

i don't think you get a PIN until the app is submitted to the applications queue
Well then that about explains it. But I don't understand the point of the PIN number, if you have the application number and you are doing it through the account you set up I'm not really seeing the need for a PIN.
Correct. You give it to the dealer. Also they can find it for you, if you forgot/lost it.Maybe the pin number is to be given to the FFL to complete the transaction?
read the guide fellas and ladies. most of the answers are there.

ignorant Hooligan.
Let's say you are havent filled out one of these apps. You are just browsing a gun store and want to make an impulse purchase. Do you then use the gun stores computer to make an application or do you have to go home and do it? Do any FFLs have a dedicated computer for their patrons?
well there's one.
