I've been a member for maybe two years now, and read the threads on occasion. I'll start by saying thank you for all the information and resources that this site has provided.
As for an intro: I'm gun nut for many reasons. The shooting challenge, builds, fabrication, 10000 ways to make a bullet go pew..... I've built several newer rifles and handguns, but I started in c/r and antiques. My first and still favorite is my marlin 1894 in .44. Another interesting piece thats a fun pinker is a 1908 DWM Bulgarian luger. It's been in the family for a long time. Even though it was "sanitized" when it was decommissioned, it still retains some Cyrillic lettering on the chamber indicator.
Beyond that, I enjoy a little 'smithing/tuning, ballistics research, hunting, and target shooting. If like to get into competitions, but just haven't gotten around to it.
