In Rehoboth Beach, DE I am sure I can imagine this "couple". If they thought you were any danger they sure as heck aren't the type that would stick around in to see what happens when the police show up. No, they were hoping you would get arrested. They thought WRONG!

No need to add the adjective...Fascism is a further left form of Liberalism. They're each part of Leftist economics and politics. "Liberalism" is Fascism Lite...kinda like being just a little bit pregnant.

You need to get your ideologies straight.
    Fascism definition:
Fascism is a form of radical, right-wing, authoritarian ultranationalism, characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, and strong regimentation of society and of the economy, which came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe.

The left claims Fascism is far right. It is not. Look at books from the 30’s to the 50’s and you will see Fascism defined as different side of same coins as Nazism, Communism, etc. Each has their own twist on the same power model. One has preferred racial superiority, another the state is absolute and class system- fascism, and marxism/comminism

To me Fascism looks a lot like Corporatism. Definitely not to the right.

You have to remember that political systems are not a line that goes from extreme right to extreme left. Its more a circle with moderate at the middle top. Once the extreme right and left start getting closer to the middle bottom of the circle they start looking similar because there is no other method to control the people. While fascism is defined as extreme right and communism as extreme left, while the rhetoric is still right and left the methods become for all intents and purposes the same. Most of that literature from the 30's-50's is hogwash because most of it was people from one side trying to show the similarities of their system compared to the other rather than the differences. That is stupid because it minimizes the ideological differences when in fact those differences are the motivating power of each group. Both groups were sworn enemies even if they did the exact same things.

You need to stop arguing with the uninformed. It's now the fashion to call all totalitarians Facists regardless of which side of the spectrum they dwell on. Fashion trumps education.

Sorry...wrong...wrong...wrong. Whether you use a straight line continuum or a circle that's broken at the bottom, Fascism is a leftist from of government and economics.

To the right side of the continuum are ideologies and forms of economics that are based upon the private ownership of the means of production and are demand economies and limited government and priorities on individual liberties. That means the markets decide what gets produced and the producers satisfy that market. The government only gets involved to the least extent necessary. The further right you go it passes from conservatism to libertarianism to its ultimate...no government at all (which is a form of tyranny of its own). How can increasing freedoms and liberties be considered tyrannical or fascist?

The left side of the continuum is marked by command economies where the government owns increasing shares of the means of production and decides what gets produced and who gets it. It starts with liberalism and as it goes further left it goes to socialism, then fascism and finally, communism. Fascism allows some private ownership of the means of production but decides what gets produced. Communism is where the state owns both the means of production and decides what gets produced. All forms of leftism takes more and more individual liberties from the citizenry.

Many have been brainwashed about the differences between fascism and communism because of WWII and Hitler (who declared he was a socialist) and Stalin hated one another. The fact is that they're kissing cousins politically and economically. They were actually allied prior to Hitler attacking the Soviet Union in 1941. Hitler and Stalin each had dreams of world conquest. There is also the difference that fascism divides by race...communism divides by economic class...and both of those tactics have been adopted by today's Democrat Party.

100%. What the left is doing is twisting and butchering the right’s sense of national pride and sovereignty as fascism. They bastardized it to fit their cause. National pride and sovereignty to extreme extreme is fascism. A sense of loving your country first, no. Hence, the reason why Libs call patriotic americans fascists. Even Orwell stated that people thought the boy scouts were fascists for patriotism. Big difference

    Non wiki definition

often capitalized : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition
