Hope this is the right forum... (being its a rimfire handgun, i assume the handgun forum is right.)

I have a currently stock P22 QD with the stock 3.42 inch barrel. It shoots great and is very accurate/consistant at the 10ish yards I normally shoot it, though is a bit small for my hands but I can deal with that.

Is the 5inch barrel (LINK) they sell for it worth trying out in any way? I know it wont make the grip larger obviously. Is there any real reason that I would NOT want to "upgrade" to the 5inch barrel?

If it's shooting well for you, I don't see how replacing the barrel is going to be helpful. Longer barrel means more velocity, which is not always helpful in calibers like 22lr that are riding on the edge between subsonic and supersonic.
