CAn I deliver my bike to a place close to the start on Friday?

Also, is there a support vehicle in case of mechanical failures?

With the weather, I’m going to play it by ear. Saturday doesn’t look like a total washout, but for me, I have to consider the 4hr ride up Friday night and the ride home Sunday. Those days aren’t looking good right now

Add me to the room list. Mrs. Not_an_outlaw will be in attendance. Riding separate on or own. She may be able to provide snacks or something. I may set that up regardless of interest.

PM me if I need to make a reservation at the Somerset Comfort Inn.

    Edit: I reserved a room.

Well it looks like the weather forecast has changed again and not in a good way. Now calling for 80% tomorrow and 100% on Sunday.

    Screenshots for Cumberland and Somerset.

As much as I hate to say it I'm going to have to pull the plug on this one.

My family obligations increased and I wouldn't have been able to make it anyway. We need to set up a ride in the near future. Maybe the same ride? early to mid October. Not a "Fall " ride but an autumn ride.

I am going in my Durango instead if the cycle. If anyone is interested in rescuing my BMW from Stoveman's low rent district business location he has the key. Then PM me with the secure location later in the week, that would be greatly appreciated.
Choke is in the left handlebar. Kind if hard to spot.

Punxsutawney Paul did a great job prognosticating the impending deluge... would have been an o.k. ride there... but man o' man ... we would have gotten a wet ass on the return trip...

I was not signed up for this ride because of other plans , but cancelling was the only right thing to do . It is brutal out there even for cage driving .

Sorry it got cancelled. On a positive note, my wife and new addition to the family were discharged from the hospital today and we are all home safe & sound!

I hope to make the rescheduled trip ... as long as I can get assistance for Mrs. DraKhen! If it's far enough in the future, she may be up for a ride, too, so I'll keep that in mind :D

Thanks man! Mrs. Drakhen is doing well, we all came home Sunday, and she got an all-clear checkup today from the OB. No heavy lifting (15lb limit), so she's not lifting our toddler (<2.5yo, 35" tall, 35lbs) for the next few weeks.

The new kid is great - he's a good sleeper, gives us 3-4 hours between feedings (usually), and goes 5 hours at night (wifey sets an alarm and wakes him to feed), so 180 degrees from our toddler, who ate every 2 hours for a YEAR.

We make 'em big. Toddler came out 9lbs, new one was 8lbs 14oz.

    -John

PS: I know you didn't. He's got hair :D Little dude came out with a full head of hair, and I'm pretty sure a diploma is in the mail lol. Never have I seen a newborn with such neck control.
