Considering a move from Idaho to the eastern shore. Is there any place to shoot long range rifle steel targets? Precision Rifle Series type of shooting?

I'd love to find someplace that is 1000 yards plus but I'm not sure there's enough non-flat ground for that in Maryland.

Unless it's private land, you're going to have to travel. Bridgeville, DE has 1000yds but they don't do PRS matches. Mayberry Protective Game Association (MGPA)in MD and New Holland Rifle in PA hosts PRS matches under the Mason-Dixon Sniper Series umbrella, but are limited to 600yds. Then you have Peacemaker in W.VA that has 1000yds and takes part in PRS. Pretty sure that's it.

Delmarva says they have a 500 yard berm.

Peacemaker also has a match that goes above 1000 yards out to as much as 1400 yards if I remember correctly.
Their Fall Scramble PRS match goes out to 1200 yards.

A lot less options to shoot much long range in the DMV!! You can reach a few places in 2-3 hrs to stretch your long range needs.
You'd probably be better off moving to the DE part of the eastern shore. MD gun laws suck. DE has a suppressor ban but you can buy standard capacity mags, MD is limited to 10 rounders.

Peacemaker is nice but a long ride depending on where you start in the DMV. They are also not accepting new members, everything is wait listed.

Fort Meade max distance is 600 yards (548m) (which doesn't suck) but isn't really long range. https://mrpc-online.org/ranges/range-information/
