    it looks like i'll be working the DC convention center for a few days this summer.
    what are the laws i need to know regarding carrying a carrying a pocket folding knife?

    Pocket knives in DC are fine....so are stun guns now as well. The convention center has its own rules so they may not like it and metro has its own laws so be careful with them.


    For us as DC Police refer yourself to the PPW-A and PPW-B laws and stay in compliance

    Remember that many Federal buildings will not permit any knives of any size. Otherwise mpdc nails the relevant statutes.
