"Gender"... "Male"... "Female"... "Unknown"... A customer filling out the electronic form today turns to all within ear's reach and said... "WTF is this?" ...:sad20:

You don't have to fill out the 77r. If you want your gun, you have to "voluntarily" fill out the 77r. It is one of those twisted things where it is voluntary as long as you don't need to do it.

You are missing the point... this is not about voluntarily filling out a form, by signing, you voluntarily agree to register your new gun.

It may not matter, the party may be over.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions is rescinding the Obama-era policy that had paved the way for legalized marijuana to flourish in states across the country, two people with knowledge of the decision told The Associated Press. Sessions will instead let federal prosecutors where pot is legal decide how aggressively to enforce federal marijuana law, the people said.

And even if so, you know MD will never remove the question from the 77R.

Yes, anything you buy on a 77R is registered whether you like it or not, been that way for a LONG time.

Agree, but in the past, under signature column, it only followed by "Transferee". I think in 2013 they added "Transferee/Voluntary Registrant " All I am saying is that you do not have a choice but to be a "Voluntary Registrant". The f-ing thing should be modified to "Registrant under duress"
