Just trying to get an idea of value on a 22 i just picked up.

Ruger 10 22 stainless, aftermarket match grade bull barrel from midway, tactical solutions stock, not sure which trigger assembly is in it but it appears to be stainless as well and is super smooth and light. Scope is junk just curious the value of it as is. TIA

To the best of my knowledge Ruger never made a TRUE stainless steel receiver. Typically they are just regular aluminum receiver that someone has stripped and polished. If it is an after market receiver there were/are some that are real stainless I have one but it is definitely not a RUGER.

Got to be a polished aluminum receiver. Ruger doesn't cast stainless 10/22 receivers. Check out Rimfire Central, that forum was started for customizing Ruger 10/22's. If you can't find it (10/22 related info) there...

Value is hard to say. Unless you can prove good accuracy, it’s the same value as a stock 10/22, but probably harder to sell unless the buyer doesn’t know better.

Could be $250. Could be $300. Could be $350. Could be...

It’s worth whatever someone will pay for it.

Approach # A - Look up the replacement costs of the components , and fine tune from there .

Approach #B - Everybody else and their cousin has s 10/22 with reasonably priced Match- ish bull bbl and aftermarket stocks , so they're anything but rare or unusual .

Is it built by 'smith of known reputation ?
Is there documentation , or personal observation of particularly noteworthy accuracy ?
Does it closely match the personal preferences of potential buyers .

For example on the last point : I strongly dislike thumbhole stocks . If I were looking at this rifle , I would do my mental calculus on the basis of getting rib of the stock , and replacing with my preference .

I have an exact twin to that!! Different optics.

+1, me too. I built mine from all Kidd parts. Looks like same stock that I used on mine. Love shooting mine.

as someone else said, its worth what you can get for it, it's hard to say on custom stuff. I know I have way too much in mine but it was a fun project to put it together.

I would approach it this way. A used Ruger stainless w/synthetic stock 10/22 is around $175. Sell the barrel and stock for $60. So now there is $115 in the remains.

The house brand heavy match barrel with stock kits are typically around $225 new. Knock off 35% for used status and you have just about $147. $147 + $115 = $262 in foundation. Throw in the trigger, is it bedded or have bedding block, does it have a good extractor, shoot reliably, accurate, etc.. What are you will to pay? Then you need to determine if that type of set up with the laminated stock and heavy barrel has full size rifle heft.

And the exact stock. The Tactical stock mentioned I cannot find in the pictured configuration with is without the front stock extenstion. Of course, maybe Midway doesn't sell that stock now or TS has discontinued it.
