-Wasn't looking for another DSM34 .22RF trainer but fell into this one while scouting a Colt Woodsman and couldn't say no. Condition is good with some weak finish but that didn't bother me. As a Mauser built Deutsches Sportmodell it's not rare, Mauser built the largest number of DSM 34s: 51 thousand. What got my attention was the RFSS stock cartouche and the SN. The SN puts it in a batch of DSM34s that Mauser sold to the Reichsfuhrung-SS in the '34/'35 time period.
-It's all matching but missing the stacking rod which sadly is common. Also wish it had a period correct sling as these are so hard to find and expensive. I'd guess that with a rod and sling you'd add about $400-500 to the value. Bore had quite a bit of dust in it but a quick swipe of a Kroil soaked patch exposed a clean, shiny bore. This one should be a good shooter.
