I have a very close friend whose doctor wants to try her on medical cannabis for chronic migraines, but also doesn't want to give up her gun rights. I know this bill passed its third reading but that was the last it did. Was it a victim of sine die?
For those not familar SB97;
"Providing that a person may not be denied the right to purchase, possess, or carry a firearm solely on the basis that the person is authorized to use medical cannabis."
For what its worth, cannabis actually has helped her tremendously in the past with them. I know she wouldn't be able to purchase new guns due to federal law, but we'd both feel a lot more comfortable if this law was to pass.
