East of Prince Frederick in Calvert county. I'm guessing we have very few or none. We have a large population of feral cats in our neighborhood being fed by bleeding heart animal huggers that don't live here. I would rather have the coyotes. The wife thinks the cats are cute and does't want them harmed. She's ok with shoot on sight with coyotes.

Some of the biggest coyotes in MD have been taken in Calvert. You definitely have them

    Amen. Beoooooooo!

We have one here in Annapolis that is getting fat off of cats, squirrels and other critters, and from cat/dog food bowls. I watched stalk through the neighborhood late at night when I come home. Pretty sure he caught a rabbit near my window at 3am the other night, because the shrieking and carrying on went on what seemed like forever...

Got pics of a yote in my backyard

Caught this fellow/or girl on my backyard trail cam, just off bayridge road.three times over 5 days.
I'd saw this is confirmation of coyotes in Annapolis.

No doubt. The bunnies have been gone for some time in Davidsonville. I don't wander around the property without a gun anymore. Mostly I worry about rabid coons though. DNR has been saying for years that AA county has a high rate of rabid coons. I have put down two in miday over the last three or four years. One was positively awful looking.

Not doubting you at all, I've had a trail cam going for a while and get tons of cats, which down in NC they say is the best lure for coyotes, and Fox pics but I only know of two bunnies and where they are, never seen a coyote but have heard stories of them for 15 years now. I've been given open orders to dispatch coons and fox by surrounding neighbors in D'ville.

    Great pic Gmkoh.

They are very smart and very wary. They see you well before you would see them and they just slink off into the brush. I see one just before sunrise when I am going fishing. It checks out my neighbor's chicken coop which is about 300 yards from my house. If I tap on the window with a coin, it instantly disappears.

I would have taken it out if my old neighbors still lived there. The current crop are tree huggers to the N th degree. :sad20: They even have a Mike Bush campaign sticker on their trash can that they make sure can be seen whenever they put out the trash. :mad54:
