    Not commenting upon the knowledge, skills or teaching abilities of Mr McPhee, just his colorful knickname.

    So somewhere out there in SandLand, is their a shooting/ tactics Instructor calling himself " The Sanjakbey of Chicago " ?

    Oh, imagine that. He dismissed the "pie chart" that so many here preach as gospel :) I'd love to take his class one day. This reminds me, I keep meaning to order one of his "condom" holsters.

    Yep. He said a lot of training these days, including the use of the pie chart, is basically WW2-era stuff and completely archaic. And, I gotta say, when we'd read a target together and I'd make the necessary fixes, the rounds would suddenly go where I wanted them. So there seems to be a lot of truth behind his methodology. And he practices regularly with "the Great One" and has, in podcasts, said he learned more from him than anyone else.

    Definitely a solid class I wish I'd taken sooner.

    On a cool side note, my Navy friend was doing some stuff with Army friends last week in NC. He had dinner and drinks with Pat Mac a couple times. I was totally jell-y.

    In some ways ,I'd rather have drinks with PMac than train with him! Both would be ideal, but if I had to choose one.......
