    (searched, didn’t see this question already...)

    I need $4k build project like I need another whole in my head, but the recent parts kit availability got me curious. I don’t see the HK416 mentioned on the MSP site (maybe because it is a machinegun) but the MR556 is legal.

    Anyone building an HK416 clone?

    Not yet, looks interesting there are several who have built
    them, nothing to hard...pretty straight forward, check some
    of the other forums, WeaponsGuild for one plenty of knowledge
    and they will help. If that's what you want to build it, build it
    $4K not really that bad,forget the money.. build it...

    Not familiar with WeaponsGuild, I’ll check it out.

    Didn't realize those were piston. Hmmm. Wrapping up a T91 build now just need to source the Taiwanese buttstock. Sure the lower isn't exactly right and Wolf's muzzlebrake is weird but its not too bad.
