Big fan of my 16" Rossi 92 .357. It's one of my favorite firearms for sure.

Considering how often these are in stock (not often) and how fast they go out of stock (pretty fast), I'm willing to take the longer barrel. I do prefer the shorter barrel, especially since .357 Mag won't benefit at all from the extra length. I guess some folks like the longer style?

I will probably get it cut & threaded for a can anyway.

It’s stainless you really can’t go wrong. Still waiting to snag a spare 16. I use mine really hard.

    My .44-40 is 20” it’s a nice looking gun

Actually I prefer a 20in on an M92 . Still plenty short and handy . Longer sight radius . I don't usually obsess over capacity , but if you ever wish to try out CAS , a 20in will hold a stage worth of ammo , while a 16 would need to top up on the clock .

    I agree.
Not just the capacity for CAS, but it is the best balanced IMO.
I see the prices haven't gone crazy either. I paid $400 for my 20" .44 Magnum in 2006.

That's a very good point. I am used to my levers being field and camp guns where 4" shorter helps packing, keeping out of the brush etc.

As noted above you really cant go wrong with either.
