Looks pretty good....you should see some of the gnarly looking ones I see down here in NC.....some folks should not have access to a hot pointy thing.

Thanks. Yeah, I at least know my limitations enough to practice on the easily replaceable backstrap...especially since it wasn't being used. As this point is I was going to add some texturing to the frame, I'd stick with a pro doing it. This really did make a pretty big difference in control though just by itself. I think I'd really only consider some slight rounding of the trigger guard on the right side where it creates a hot spot on my middle finger, and an indexing point on the left side of the frame for my support thumb from here. There's enough hook on the bottom of the front strap that the gun feels secure now with the textured back panel.

Two of my last pre-October buys...

I realized these dinosaurs haven't been displayed here. 5906 was to get something regulated in my wife's name before training would be required and the 4046 was to finally diversify a bit into (yeah, I know) 40 S&W.

I need to take pics of the 5906 again... I'm not pleased with the "blue" from the daylight coming in the slider.

I've added a FO front sight and shot it through about 200 rounds. I think I'm going to send it off to Apex for some trigger and cylinder work.

    She's a dirty girl.
Friend inherited this. I cringed when I saw that someone scraped it with sandpaper or something to take the bluing off. Did not affect how it shot though.
He's debating if he'd do anything to the finish or just leave it.
We have yet to Date it.

If you ask her out nicely, I'm sure she'd go on a date with you :innocent0

There are several resources for year ranges based on serial numbers.

Just got this from interweb 1917 Brazilian Contract

Haven't shot it yet, but the action is tight and the trigger is butter.

Any knowledge on the mod's will be greatly appreciated.
