    for a drill press is what I would use, and intend to actually, I already have a kick a$$ drill press.

    I think this attachment and a couple end mill bits would be pretty slick.

    What kind of 80% is that? I would imagine it is 6061 as 7075 would have probably been impossible to mill using a Dremel. Hell, I've heard of 7075 breaking drill presses.

    Not to discourage you, but those vice set up are nice for wood or very, very simple metal milling, but the vibration will kill your accuracy on aluminum and the precise tolerances you need for the lower. The platform on even a higher end drill press is too flimsy.

    I read a few reviews of that vise after I posted it and you are correct, that type of vise is not very accurate. Probably better than a dremel tool, but far from the best option.

    It looks cool though! :)
