A friend contacted me today to see if I had any pistols I would be interested in selling. I have an older Glock 19 that is not getting much use so I considered offering it up.

I went on Gunbroker to get an idea of a fair price and they are all over the place. Anyone care to give an idea? I know we have some pretty serious Glock folks here.

For perspective, Brand new Gen5 Glock 19s are trending around $650 plus shipping. Good luck......

Not sure about Gen 2s or what they're going for in MD, but Gen 3 19s and 17s in VA that have aren't bubba'd move at $500-600 and are gone instantly

Look up GSSF/Blue Label prices. Don't over pay. Now, "if" the G19 has the early black parts an the un-captured RSA, I'd pay more. Then it's what date does the manual have on it?

    $300.

Sh#t, your selling. DON'T DO IT!!!! It's a Gen 2 an they ain't making them anymore. Price keeps going up an up. Go to glocktalk.com an look around.

If the magazines are preban that's another $50-100 each.

I'll pay $300 for just the pistol. One like your went for $650 last week on glocktalk with case an three $15 mags.

    Keep it!

I think $400-$450 would be a fair price. You surely could get more in the current climate, but you did mention it is a friend.

Yep, it isn't something I was actively trying to sell and the only reason I would consider it is because I have another Gen 2.

for the relatively little you'll get for it, just keep it. stash gun somewhere in house for if things go bad. always good to have a backup or five or six...
at the last dulles expo show (months ago now...), new gen 3 & 4 were in the low $500 range.

If it's a complete package $550-$600. If it was a C model, much more.

I have a couple mags I would throw in. I don't have a box. It's not a C model or anything that would make it more collectible. Just a regular ol' Glock.

Fairly good. Not real buddy buddy. Met him through another shooter friend and he is primarily a skeet shooter.

Ok so at a minimum get what you have invested in it back. If I believe he's a stand up guy I'm ok with a wash. Also would be ok offering something between my cost and current cost.
