    I believe 000 buck might be closer to .32 cal. I have heard a lot of the pocket pistol bp shooters use them. If I were closer I would gear you up. I shoot both .44 and .36. Right now i am experimenting with my own (very small batches) bp. The first attempt is finished drying, now off to the range to try it out!

    I just put a caliper on a double aught buck and it was about .32, so the triple must be around .36.

    If you want to get into BP, do it with anything but a revolver. They are a PITA to work with. Besides, which they are also a PITA to clean. The fun of shooting it a few times will disappear in the having to clean it.

    like 1911, AR, AK, and most other afficianados of a particular discipline, or firearm, cap and ball revolvers have their own distinct allure amongst those who like to throw lead for one reason or another.
