Cabelas near Richmond had 20+ Mosins on the rack for $450 each! None is great condition. Most WWII era with chips and were mismatched. I couldn’t believe it! You don’t even get a bayonet...

I’m angry I didn’t buy more for $99 each on Black Friday 4 or 5 years ago.

I was at a Cabelas in Idaho Falls last week and I was surprised how few good deals there were on anything. I got a sweet hat for $10.

It's antics like this that gives gun sellers a bad name.

They should be ashamed of themselves.

No one is being forced to buy.

"A fool and their money..." and all that jazz. Although with advertised prices like that, I'd be tempted to start selling Mosin's out of the bed of my truck in Cabela's parking lot for the low low price of $375 per.

I bought mine at Cabela's about 5 years ago for $129. It's a 1943 but it was in near mint condition. The extractor was broken and I think it had only been fired relatively few times and when the extractor broke it ended up on the shelf or in a box somewhere. And you're right if I had known the prices would have exploded I would have purchased several. Back in the 80s one of the department stores in Charleston South Carolina had metal 55 gallon drums full of those and SKS and other World War II era long guns for between 49 and $69 each. I never had any interest in any of them. I sure wish I had

Yeah I noticed that it took awhile, but the last few months a lot of Cabela’s really good deals have evaporated. I guess that’s the “efficiencies” or Bass Pro having bought them up. I’ve seen very few good ammo deals from them in about 6 months when most other people’s ammo prices keep judging lower.

    'licky'? :lol2:

There's a good joke someone else can think of not me. :lol2::lol2::lol2:

I thought these mosins were much cheaper, maybe I'm not so lucky.

If you are a women, short cropped hair and wear plaid, they’ll sell it to you for under $300.

Things have gotten worse at Cabelas since the Bass Pro takeover imho.

But they did have brass .30 carbine for 50 cents a round which works for me.

SOG has recently had .30 carbine for .27 cents a round...

Cabela’s used to have .30 carbine for .40 a round (normally, PPU)
