    The reason I almost always shot IDPA with a photo-vest was the big side pockets to dump one of those mags you were not allowed to drop. That was always my worst peeves at an IDPA event.

    I guess if you're a total baller and can do a retained mag swap on the move, that's probably the way to go in IDPA, but it feels like such a niche thing to practice. Maybe I'll dry-fire it a bit and see how it turns out.
