I breathed new life into this 870 express. New stocks fore and aft, mag extension, stripped some ugly paint that made its way on the barrel at some point in its 30+ years on this earth. Very pleased.

Very nice to see a neglected gun rescued. I am very fond of my numerous C&R rifles. I feel that they appreciate being rescued from a life of oblivion.

The serial number put this in the early 70’s. I checked when I first got this scatter gun about six years ago

I love that furniture. Is it aftermarket?
I really want to dress up my 870 with a nice walnut or laminate stock set, but oddly haven't been able to find anything.
