The hunter doesn't come threaded but other models do.
Not in the Mark IV, at least not according to the Ruger website

Nice! I'll miss the disassembly challenge however. It separated men from the boys.

Very nice! It took a while, but they finally responded to customer inputs."Reassembly" is the challenge for me. Almost had an episode of vertigo last time I cleaned mine.

Wow! I may need to get one now. I love shooting my Mark 1, but hate to reassemble it. As many Mark series pistols that they have sold over the years, I wonder how many more would have sold had this change occurred 50 years ago or so.
