The class I took at the Frederick IWLA was in July 2015. So it's expired.

But for those who applied,. I would do as Rascal suggested and see if MPDC will accept the 4+2 renewal traiinng in lieu of the full 16 hour class.

DC Council is adjourned until 10/17.

I wonder what new requirements they will add? How about a 4 week training course with a certificate that’s only valid for 3 weeks?

Their twitter feed had some bellyaching about taxes too... I agree with them and think it’s completely unfair. Maybe they should consider secession? That would show everyone!

I think any attempt at more stringent requirements would be viewed as either retaliation or an attempt to evade or modify the Court Decision.

I don't think the court will look favorably at such behavior.

    Guess we;ll see

I think we took it at the same time IIRC. I haven't paid much attention to the rules post-rejection, so will be following this thread closely for guidance. With all of the GFZ's in DC I'm wondering if it's more trouble than it's worth.

it's worth it if only to prevent prosecution for a loose shell casing.

Plus rubbing Bowser's and Mendolson's and the other gin grabbers noses in some poop will be satisfying to me.

i agree. every state and DC that borders MD is now shall issue as of tomorrow. Hogan can use this as political cover, and blame the DC Circuit at the same time.

    win win

Time to strike while the iron is hot.
I thought Delaware is technically may issue.

technically but other than the stupid requirement of publishing your app in the paper, they don't require G&S like MD does.

Point being now any legal resident of any jurisdiction bordering MD can now be issue a permit w/o G&S

Frosh knows what's coming. The die is cast.

With G&S gone, SAF membership is no longer a factor to get a permit.

But I am, glad I am a life member.!!!
Could be, but as a member of SAF. I am party to the suit
I should be entitled to relief. I'll expect my permit gratis as I have paid for it a while ago.

google is your friend, I am not.
Anonymous sources in D.C. mean only one thing....

This is a trial balloon the AG floated to see what the reaction is. If the blowback is huge he can reconsider. Likely he has an appeal brief ready to go, just in case.

    ask again tomorrow...
