I refuse to work with Dick's and my fave local gun store is shutting down so no new Benelli orders. So I called up Cabela's and they had the shotgun I want in stock! So I drove there twice since the first time their card reader was malfunctioning. I picked her up and wanted to hit the range for a test run before we went home, but with the 1.5 hour checkout time, that went out the window. When I got home, the tube extender was waiting for me from Midway. I figured out how to remove the plug and installed the tube extender. I hosed out the grease and stuff, then put her in a soft case. This was last night. This morning, I took her to the 3-gun match at Quantico. My second stage was my first opportunity to shoot her. I had a bobble then she ran perfectly. Even through the rain. It works, it works well, and I'm glad I got it.

I'm going to take her out on Monday and run about 20 low recoil slugs to check sights. The Remington slugs cost significantly less than the Fiocci.

my m2 (sprung for 3") works absolutely perfectly with walmart win and fed 4-paks. my 3 1/2" sbe2 works absolutely perfectly with the win supersports, not quite as good with the walmart (and not very good with the super light loads they sell at the skeet ranges (rio etc)), being sprung for 3.5".

I shot 14 rounds of the Remington Managed Recoil slugs and it cycled the shotgun and was fairly accurate with the IC choke. It was hard to tell with all the holes created by the wads in the target. I'm pretty pleased with the M2, looks like I'm keeping it.
