I currently have a Spikes Tactical ar15 in .223 (non piston). I have a Silencerco Saker .556 can on it. I can shoot 1-3 rounds before it has a FTE or jams. I'm shooting PMC Bronze 55 grain. I really don't want to change ammo because I have a ton of it... But as soon as I pull the suppressor off the gun functions flawlessly. Do I really need to go to a piston upper with an adjustable gas block or a self regulating system. Any suggestions?

Either get an adjustable gas block, or try dialing up the weight of the recoil buffer. If you're running an H, go up to an H2 or an H3.

The easiest thing would probably be to change the gas block out to an adjustable gas block like an SLR

The easiest way would be a gemtech adjustable bolt carrier. Just drop it in and go, no barrel disassembly required. :D Maybe throw in a heavier buffer too.

Be sure to lube it more and clean after every range trip. Cans make AR's dirty WAY faster and worse than you might be used to. SEAL 1 runs mine very well suppressed.
