Mine won't be a .223. And the ballistics people say that with most of the powder used in 6.8, it will retain the vast bulk of its velocity.

I have the same thing, is it regulated? By code looks like AR15 or AR180 clones are regulated but this is not either? Not that I care that much I just hate having a new toy embargoed for a week that I could be shooting at the range.

Hands down this is my next gun!

    What is this embargo talk?

Based on earlier posts, it's not on the list so it's not regulated but some dealers might think it is.

The owner of Robinson Arms was endorsing Romney for a while, which earned the ire of some in the community. A little bit of a moot point now.

Yeah, so did I. Little did Terra tell us whom that email connected us to!

I got a personal response in an hour or two.

I'm thinking that if they do go with a 1:7 I'll be ordering an SBR ASAP :party29:

Yep. That's who it be. Here's the reply he sent me...

We just started turning barrels ourselves. You could order one (1:7). We'd
have to charge a small premium at this time because we don't stock the
1:7 blanks. We find the 1/9 shoots great groups at 100 yards from a 12"
    barrel.

I'm guessing you got Alex? :D

Yep. He was great, and after I kissed butt telling him how much I love the XCR, I told him that my needs for something shorter included a shorter receiver as well. He said they (you) are definitely working on plans for a PDW, was very gracious, and made sure I knew that I'd have to buy a new upper, barrel, and operating rod.

Believe me, I'm looking forward to it.
