No, if the DMG model had been submitted, it would have said the DMG model. Their record keeping is not that bad.

i think that could be part of the problem. the roster doesnt have a model number. it only says "defender" which is pretty much MPAs entire handgun series

This. If they want to play the "all versions" game on what is banned, then it should work the same when they are vague with the approved handgun roster.

Took mine out today. It’s an insanely stupid gun, ergos are crap, obviously too heavy, trigger pull is wellll it’s there, and the mag takes a guy with 20’ biceps to load but it was fun.

I’ll never shoot it again but i like having it and really wanted one. It did fire as i cocked the bolt and dropped it home which was very unnerving (WWB 115gn).

I am not a lawyer and would certainly not want to be a test case but at least ethically the entrapment comparison feels accurate to me. Not saying that this is legally the true but if the Roster Board lists it as ok and an FFL sold it any prosecution would strike me as cruel and vindictive. I would not vote to convict if I was on a jury anyway. In the end though the important thing is that the gun looks scary and is therefore more dangerous.
