I ordered it last Sunday; it arrived to my FFL this past Wednesday. Will pick up the following week!!

Great service, and a great deal on a outstanding rifle. :party29:

Now run out and get all the cool surplus gack to be had for it.
And stock up on those cheap G3 mags while you can.

That looks so good. That was on my to-buy list before SB281, but wasn't affordable for me. Congrats!!!

Nice. Check out robertrtg.com and hkparts.net if you ever want to change it up.

Keep your eyes open for a Hensoldt Fero Z24 scope with the claw mount, German surplus from the 80's but the one I got was practically brand new and it's cool as hell!

The Z24 is a sweet Zeiss scope.

I just got the .22 conversion for my PTR and I'm loving it.
Works like a charm right out of the box.

I was lucky enough to get into one of those before the ban also. I can't wait to get home and take it out!!

Great turnaround time too, it was at my FFL's within a couple of days.

I never realized Atlantic Arms was an IP on here or I would have thanked them a few weeks ago!!!

Now, I am looking at ammo for it now. Will a 147gr bullet work?

    I got the cheap Herters 308 from Cabelas and it cycled perfectly. It also fires nice tight groups. The only down side is that the stock tends to smack me in the cheek. Recoil is not bad at all; but I did add this butt pad which I would recommend;

The sights (on my rifle) were way off - but can obviously be adjusted.

The trigger on my rifle is fine; does not feel like 10 pounds at all. I think PTR put the sniper trigger on my rifle

I am extremely happy with the rifle. :party29:

    I'm looking at 147gr 308 from ammoman.com

WWhat weight was the Herters? I'll look at some extras but right now I just want to get some food for it.

Just an update; here's what it looks like with a wide handguard and steel trigger housing in park finish. I duracoated the handguard and butt stock in OD green to match. Also added a bayonet mount.
