    These pics get me. I'm dogless right now. lost my 14 year old GSD about this time last year. Wife wants to wait another year as we have a 2 and 3 year old kid and pottytraining right now.

    Had a male doberman and a female german shephard. Love both breeds. Probably going with a gsd or mal next. Training is the best part of having a puppy! It's so rewarding having a great dog you can take anywhere and they know how to act. Kind of like kids in that regard. I take my kids out camping, hiking and fishing etc.... lets me do fun stuff while teaching them. Kind of like a puppy. Take them everywhere you can and always be consistent so they don't get confused. The more energy they burn the easier they are to train and the better behaved because they burned that energy off and learned something from the training. A dog is a great reason to go for a daily hike or walk and that is always healthy for both of you.
