My daughter is in her first year pre-veterinarian major at College Park UMD.
She has already taken the animal handling class, has her driver's license, and has worked at a dog kennel doing various odds-n-ends.
She will need veterinarian shadow hours for when she eventually applies to vet. school. To that end, I'm casting a net out to the group for veterinarians willing to take on a pre-vet. shadow student for this summer. Probably even just an entry level tech / greeter may be sufficient to start.
She would probably prefer central Maryland area.
This is just a feeler posting - she may be able to find something to her liking closer to home/school.
Pointers or referrals are always welcome.
