I picked up the Surefire (Light/laser combo) and I went to mount on the XD today and it doesn't seem to align properly. When mounted securely in the front slot it seems to have a slight upward tilt, also looks like there's a bit of interference between the light and front of trigger guard. I'm using the universal adapter (the picatinny won't fit in the rails?) At seven yards the laser is 4" above the iron sights.
Anyone had a similar problem. Haven't shot or made any adjustments yet, was thinking about lightly filing down the back of the light to see if that helps but wanted to check here before I start grinding on a $360 light.
