    OK,
Time Rimfire section has a Range pics thread!.
If you don't want to start your own range pic thread, just post pics of your trip, your gun, your target or whatever is appropriate as part of a RANGE TRIP.

    I'll be first up.
Got this Ruger 10/22 sporter version during the last snow day. Threw a BSA Sweet 22 3-9 onto it that I had already. With the scope I'm only $230 into it as it was on sale and I used store points to discount it.

Right now, it's totally stock. I have not floated the barrel yet either.
This is 50 yards from the bench. The nice thing is the scope is exactly where I had left it the last range trip.
    Ammo is CCI AR tactical

Group in the middle was slow fire waiting 20 seconds between shots. The rest were as fast as I could manage to get back on target and pull trigger. I wanted a baseline before I started to mess with it. Next up is to float the barrel.

Here is a fancy 10/22,well at least the mag still is, and a 10 shot 100 yard target at the AGC last year. Melnic, we will have to get together and shoot some rimfires this year.

10 rounds at 50 yards. Shot with my Savage Anschutz 10A. A couple of weekends ago I tried some match ammo and was not able to improve on the group I have with the CCI Standard below. I'm going to try some other match ammo once it gets a little warmer.

I always like when you post a photo of this 10/22. I love the look of that one.

Every time you post a picture of one of your rifles I get more jealous. That's a great looking Ruger.

    Augie,
If the tree ever gets hit by lighting, you are going to have to have the stump bronzed.

My Anschutz Achiever. These are the first 10 shots I took with it.

    10-22 with Camo dressing

I added some additional camo to my Ruger 10-22 using Mossy Oaks camo vinyl covering.

I've had the same experience with my savage, it likes cci sv more than anything else I've tried.

Which action does that have, 54 or 64?

It's a 1451. Really hard to find info about it. It was built in the 90's. It came stock with diopter sights and spacers for the adjustable buttplate.

Ot was supposed to be a youth gun. With the spacers, it fits me great. Really light and fun little Annie.

Did you notice the lack of shotgun hulls on the range? I picked up 3 buckets during the last AGC work day.

I think they have been replaced :)
I was going to have my son pick some up but he was looking for 30 carbine cases :)

I vowed to try to come by some mornings and pick some of those up since I did not make the work day and I"m there so much.

How much carbine brass do you need?

I have all I need, just trying not to reduce what I have too fast :)

BTW, no pics but I floated the barrel on said Ruger and a "slight" improvement in groups noticed in 3 groups of 10 taken from the bench that day. Its more than accurate enough for its purpose. Yesterday I took it out and shot steel @ 100 yards from sitting position. Shooing my steel @ 100 yards from the bench is just no challenge as any misses are likely the bullet itself. I have vowed that unless I'm testing accuracy of changes or reloads, I'm going to try to spend more time shooting from standing, sitting and Prone.
