Can't go wrong there. Crab Cakes, Soups, homemade salads (potato,mac,and cole slaw), cheesesteaks, crabby toast (crab dip on slices of italian bread), grilled/broiled fish.

BTW - Friday nights....Chincoteagues 50 cents a piece.

We always liked "By The Docks", but 99% sure there's are from G&M, and we haven't been there for years.

Have had some at Schultze's Crab House very recently, and they are good. They've been around a LONG time.

Did get some at Pappas in Cockeysville a few years ago, which were good, as well.

I agree, the last Box Hill crab cake I had was awful. Full of filler! The used to be good but obviously went down hill! Never again!!!

They're good too. Last family meal we had before leaving MD was at friendly farms. Different kind of experience there though, more suited to large groups.

I'll add another vote for G&M unless you want to travel up to North East, then Port House Grill a very small place with excellent food, especially the crabcakes.

timbuktu had the sane recipe as G&M as they used to be owned by related greek mafia.
timbuktu restaurant is nasty though-only thing i would eat their is crab cake.

I must have bad standards. Hated Fertalli's in Hampstead.

I enjoy the rib/crab cake you get at Corner Stable in Cockeysville.

Next time I'm down that way I'll try Pappas.

If you are that close, don't get the ribs at The Corner Stable. Andy Nelson's is only a couple of miles away.

By The Docks ain't bad. Neither is Al's on Eastern Ave across from The Gun Shop. Theirs are a lil' spicy though. Gitcha some Cream of Crab while you're there.

There's a Dutch market out in Hunt Valley at the southeast corner of York and Ashland. There's some folks in there that make some damn good ones. Definitely worth a try too.

They are still around. They're OK, but there are better choices in the area.

Man it was like a blur. I got in last Friday night and flew back Monday afternoon. So many places to go and so many people I had to see. The time just flew by. But fear not, I'll be back :cool:
