Need steps carpeted

    Mrs. Zoo has said we need the downstairs steps recarpeted before we host Christmas.

    Just an ordinary flight of a dozen straight steps. Would rather give the work to someone here than Empire or some chain.

    I did my basement stairs with pre-cut carpet stair treads and some serious adhesive.

    Lasted 21 years so far, and cost about half nothing. Upstairs, we bought a runner, and stapled it into place. Both look fine, and were very easy to do.

    Of course, that would depend on the appearance of what's there already, and what you want the finished product to be...
