I've always wondered how these work. Where does the bolt carrier recoil to with no buffer tube?

So far tried HST, Hydrashock, PDX1, Ranger, Hornady XTP, CD, TAP, GD, and so far they all feed. You can feed it really slow by hand, and it works, nose can't get pushed up into the handle path, and the lower ramp guides it into the chamber before it is out of the mag feed lips. Kinda wish they had more than the single 5.25" option with a threaded muzzle, all others are shorter barrels pinned to 16" with a brake or tube.

The bolt is also pretty awesome, limits it to 2" of stroke(pic is at lockback), and the LRBHO works. It can run at a normal 3" like most other 9mm blowback bolts/buffers use, and the LRBHO locks on the bolt face. Really clean slick bolt with nice machining too

He's probably waiting on one, think only BRN180, Sig Virtus and 22 kits can run without a buffer tube. There are some really short PDW tubes and the deadfoot folder setup, but they are oddballs.

Very nice! Range report? I've been contemplating a .45acp or 10mm pcc as an addition this year.

I posted this up in the SMG45 thread, but it deserves to be shared here. My newly acquired (and for just a few more days - unfired) LWRC SMG45. It's sporting a SiCo Hybrid 46, Aimpoint PRO, and Troys. Can't wait to take it out!

That looks fantastic. Any possibility of a clear vertical flat photo? What mag are you using?

Lol. Can it be an evil ghost gun if the AFT knows about it? Does that make it an undead/zombie gun? Which sounds more haunted.... So are we talking the walking dead zombies or the 28 days later/world war z zombies??
