If I'm working tomorrow (which I likely will be) I won't make it. But if I'm not I'll be there so pencil me in as pending.

    E,

In honor of your deceased family member, and also for presumably your favorite type of poem, I raise a glass and humbly offer what Peter King (the sportswriter, not the Congressman), might call the Adieu Haiku:

    Gone, not forgotten
We ask for strength and comfort
    For all those aggrieved.

I have found this particular version of this song full of both joy and sorrow in times of loss. The Irish might be the scum of the earth, but they and my ancestors did and continue to do "bittersweet" rather well.

But since it falls unto my lot,
That I should rise, and you should not
I'll gently rise and I'll softly call,
Good night, and joy be with you all

    G-d bless.
