One of my jobs in real life is commercial photography. Usually, that's pretty dry stuff. But when I get to use those skills to take photos of some of my toys, it's pure fun. Here's some of my CAS goodies, featuring (holstered, but it's art, man!) my favorite six-shooter: an actual Colt SAA. Love that gun.

Damn. I envy people who can take great gun porn pics. You and Brentona have my permission to continue. LOL They're great lessons in composition.

I'm small-time compared to some I know. Some operate at altitudes of Colt collecting where you need oxygen to breathe.

Colt revolvers can quickly develop into an illness that requires oxygen, therapy and excessive amounts of range time. Those SAA's you have, though. Wow. I'm not even that a big of a fan of SA revolvers but, those that you have are truly works of art.

Yeah, I had to stop at 3. I was checking VA Guntrader every day for several months before I just stopped :sad20: If I were going to get another Colt revolver, it's going to be in the Trooper and Detective Special lines.

How long is the barrel on that 44 Mag? Would do Dirty Harry proud.

A Dan Wesson in 357 is on my future wish list.

    I'm guessing the S&W in 357 is a Model 66, right?

Barrel measures 8 3/8" I'm a little reluctant about firing it. 1) I'm pretty sure it is new, 2) Its gonna sting.

The 357 S&W is a model 19-3. All of them are from around the 1980's

The Dan Wesson has a ton of caked on crap from the display/storage box. All the foam deteriorated and some attached itself to the wood, and the emblem possibly corroding it with the help of some moisture. I need to look into how to safely remove it.
