I haven't read the articles that Dan Newberry has written but those are on my to do list for when I'm on vacation next week and start messin around with it. Kinda trying to get the brass prepped ahead of time so I can get more loading time in.

Brass prep... never ends. I just received 500 Winchester .308Win cases. That oughta keep me busy.
Have you seen Ed's article on brass prep? I followed his suggestions and spells out the process pretty clearly.

If you havent already, check out Newberry's forum:

tdt91- looks like a good start to me! One thing I might suggest is some sort of dust cover for the scale. I have an old Tupperware bread bin over mine.

Thanks for the tip, I'll get it covered. Its JSWs and I don't want anything happening to it.

    Thanks much.

Many of the dies are duplicate calibers. One weakness I have is not being able to pass up good deals on used dies. Rather than re-adjusting the seat/crimp die for different bullet styles, I pre-set extra seat dies for a particular bullet. Kinda getting lazy in my older years. :D

    Reloading Bench v2.1:

I got a good deal on a little bit of flat bar from my company's fab shop...

Now I can easily move my presses and other equipment around and maximize the space:

I think the bench should be done for now. Once I move (can't wait to move this beast ), I think I will add some more lighting and more storage.

Such as it is... reloading, some tools, cleaning supplies. The black rectangle thing was part of a set of knick-knack shelves found at Goodwill for $1.50 and it works better than the $75 mount thing I got off eBay; that one needs a heavy, open top bench to work right.

OK, here's the "after tidying up" pictures: :sad20:

Don't worry ATF, the ones on the right are empty and used for storage.

Now mind you, all of these things aren't on the bench while I work, that's what pool tables are for. ;)

So i do have another use for my old alarm cans LOL.. to bad i just chucked 4 of them
