    I know there was a thread where Chad gave his recommendation, which I value, but I wonder if there might be some advantage to this recipe over straight motor oil.

    Ill have to try this, Im always looking for better lubes/cleaners.

    Just because my lube works dont mean theres nothing better. Gotta always have an open mind.

    I have used just about every kind of cleaner, solutions, oils over the years. Now all I use is Ballistol to clean and oil my guns. I mix it with water to clean black power guns and when I use old corrosive ammo. You can find it at Midway and Brownells and it is the only thing you will need to keep your guns clean and rust free. I wish I had stock in the company.
