Does anyone have a document or link to a source that specifies exactly what a "mil-spec" action spring is? Metal type, winding, tension, length, diameter, coatings or not? Any official source is appreciated.

My official source: Clandestine of SOTAR.

For the record, I don't use milspec action springs. I like Tubb's springs, but Chad can give you the lo-down.
