    I love it if for a change the police gets it right and the TV station doesn't twist it around:

    Police tell the station the woman and her children are victims in the situation. They say the family is traumatized. They were reportedly not hurt in the incident.

    In Portlandia of all places!

    I'm sure she didn't wake up that morning with the intention of killing anyone, but under the circumstances what choice did she have?
    He was in her home.
    She had to protect herself and her 2 children.
    The media needs to report more stories like this.
