    Ugh. No help what-so-ever, but I should have expected that with Maryland laws and MSP guidance.

    I'm considering a 6.5 Grendel upper. Of course, the one I'm looking states "Medium Barrel Contour".

    So, a medium barrel contour, chambered in 6.5 grendel, on an ar-15 lower... Maybe I should call MSP to get a consensus of various answers... :sad20:

    If you call MSP twice on the same day, you'll get 3 different answers.

    AFAIK most calibers above .223/5.56 are by nature, considered H-bars. Just make sure they don't have the dreaded military profile(grenade launcher attachment point).

    They'd seemin'ly have to be. A gooberment profile barrel with a .300 Blk bore through it would have awful thin walls.
