Anyone reload 32 win spl ? Looks like Hodgdon has load data with common .223/308/30-30 powders. Anything to watchout for ?

Just found a Marlin 1893 in 32 H.P.S and see that factory ammo is still available but I always like to keep an eye on reloading.

In general for tubular magazines, are polymer tipped bullets OK to use in them and not have them chain fire?

Or use the hornady ballistic tip they developed for use in tube magazines

Levevolution? Or something like that. Not sure if you can source their projectile or something similar

No polymer or pointed bullets in a tube magazine unless you single load them.

    Good luck

    Negative. Not true anymore

I've run these through my 35 Remington with no problems whatsoever . If you do wind up reloading 32 Winchester special send me a private message I probably have four or five boxes of brass that I can give you. My father had one that he hunted deer with for decades and my brother has it now but he has so much ammunition he'll never use it all and I don't reload that caliber

These aren't red, but claim to be flexible poly tips, same claim as the leverevolution. Wonder if they can be tube mag loaded?

Muleskinner, thanks for the brass offer, I'll definitely send a PM if this all takes off..

I use the flexible tips in my 35 remington. It's a Marlin 336 and it's tube fed. It kicks like a mule. If ever there was a time for accidental detonation due to recoil it would be with that gun and I've never had a problem. In fact I have a friend who has a lever action 45-70 and he uses the poly tip as well with no problem

Mike, these are almost certainly Hornardy FTX (Flexible Tip Expanding) overrun bullets. Yes, fine with tubular feed magazine.

Note however, Midway hasn't done you any favor on price.

Flex tips are rubber designed for tube magazines, not polymer as asked in the OP.

and flexible polymer tips are rubber ?

"32 Caliber (321 Diameter) 165 Grain Flexible Polymer Tip Spitzer"

When the title says polymer, I ask about polymer.
