    For the first time in much too long, MSI is going to a gun show! Plus, this will be a new one for MSI.

    Saturday - 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
    Sunday - 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

    Volunteers get free admission to the show. (And there's nothing to prevent a little shopping before or after your shift.) Another thing worth mentioning, some vendors, upon seeing you have a vendor badge, will give a few $$ off a purchase. Not all vendors will do this, but it could be an added bonus for volunteers.


    MSI now also has a volunteer incentive program, if you volunteer for a total of four shifts at gun shows (all day Saturday or Sunday counts as two shifts) you will get a FREE membership renewal!

    I guess some things are still the same. Excellent geographic opportunity for Frederick and Carroll County folks, help is especially needed on Saturday afternoon.

    I'm unable to make this one, because I have to work.

    But, bumping the thread, in the hope that someone else may be able to assist.

    Come on out, spend a few hours at the table, and then wander the show for free.

    Are face masks required at this venue? Will we be using the tablet to register new members? Do we have sanitizing wipes for the tablet? I'm thinking that it might be more appropriate to collect new member info on note cards, or at least have that as an option, given that the Wuhan Red Death is still around.

    Per the promoter, masks will be optional. As of this evening, Adams County will go into PA's "green" phase. I just got back from some shopping, so we will have wipes & sanitizer. We always have the paper membership forms available, you never know when there will be some kind of electronics malfunction. I also got your email, thanks!

    Correct on the address. This is the 1st time with this promoter but usually you just tell them at the door you're with MSI. I'll scout out the procedure Saturday morning, if there's anything else I'll email you the info.

    I'm not going to be able to make it. I really wanted to and was looking forward to helping out. Sorry. I hope somebody can fill the gap. To anybody on the fence about volunteering, please do. It's a great experience supporting an important cause, and you get in for free.
