Anne Arundel Fish and Game (AAFG) in Annapolis, Maryland (USPSA VA25) will be hosting a USPSA, Level 1 match, with four stages including one classifier stage, on Saturday morning, August 31, 2013. Match fee is $20 for AAFG members and $30 for non-members. Pre-registration is required and slots are limited to 30 shooters, and there are about 7 slots remaining on the roster as I write.
Show up time is 8:30 AM for new-to-AAFG shooters and 9 AM for previous AAFG shooters. If you have never shot ANY type of action pistol match at AAFG, you are deemed to be a new-to-AAFG shooter. Mandatory safety brief for new-to-AAFG shooters is at 8:45 AM and mandatory safety brief for ALL shooters is at 9:30 AM. First shots downrange is at 10 AM. If you do not attend the safety brief(s) you can not shoot the match. We expect to finish shooting by 1 PM.
You are expected to help with setup and tear down. Brass can only be collected after the match and tear down is complete.
Please keep your handgun cased until after you have received the safety briefing from the Match Director.
