An MD legal Springfield m1a????

http://www.springfield-armory.com/pr...6-5-creedmoor/

Come again? I mean, that configuration and price tag, a hard no for me, but would a 6.5cm m1a be MD legal? Or is this a “banned by name” and it isn’t the .308 m1a that is specifically banned?

If legal, please make a basic wood stocked variety Springfield. I’ll get what all the cool kids are shooting for calibers if it means I can have an m1a.

Atlantic just released a odd gun that is probably MD approved. It's a combo of M1 grand, bm59. And M1a1. Made by James River. So it's not a M1a1 nor is it a bm59.

I ran across these rifles a while ago. It doesn’t have any sight on it, so it is different from the m1a. I wonder if it is differ enough to not be a copy. http://www.shop.m-14parts.com/Bula-D...3plqscsfapp001

Take a look at the mag fed Garand conversions from Shuff's Parkerizing.

Interesting. Seems like weird bastardization but...........if that's what it takes to get past the MD-AZIs that may be it.

Still prefer a clean Polytech

I prefer an armory refurbished m14. And I don’t mean a conversion to an m1a.

All these redundant frankenstein rifles just to be slightly similar to the actual one that is banned.

Stupid and overpriced!
