This. These petty tyrants need to be reminded how fragile their perceived power is and that it only exists at the will of those being governed.

Any leader worth his salt knows that the further "up" you go in the leadership world, the more vulnerable you are and the more reliant you are on those that you lead.

These fvckers need a stern reminder.

Exactly. This is the kind of situation that makes the 100 guys with rifles ask themselves why are we following that one officer with just a pistol.

Things are getting interesting in Virginia. The Dems picked the wrong state to tinker with. The backlash in VA is going to be harsh. I was talking to a friend of mine today about VA. I would not be surprised if this leads to a war between those stuck enforcing the law (whether it be local, state police or federal agencies) against patriots. As it was loosely said in another thread, the people of Virginia were asleep at the wheel during the election. The people that sat back and didn't vote with the "Oh that could never happen here" mentality....well it actually HAPPENED.

When 10 men come to your house when you are home alone, you comply (unless you are stupid)

When 10 men come to your house and you have 30 others armed, the 10 comply (unless they are stupid).

They don't realize, "they" are the 10 vs. 30 right now in va and "they" simply need to comply as opposed to pushing the issue. The people have voted. They just refuse to tally the votes at this time and think they still get to make unconstitutional laws.

It is how the world works.

If Saddam had 3x the military we had, we would have left or lost. That was not the case. At the end of the day, the side with the most guns always wins. Not sure why the politicians are not realizing that right now in va they are waking a sleeping giant that "has more guns".

When and 80 year old, 110 pound woman walks a 120 pound Rottweiler, it's simply because the rotti allows her to lead the walk. If she mistreated the rotti he could change the course of the walk.

Why do the politicians with their nonsense not realize some of these basic principals of how things work as mentioned above?

These guns they want to ban are owned precisely for the fact that they want them banned and they are showing their true colors right now. None of these law abiding citizens and elected sheriffs want to be forced into the position they are currently in at the moment. But I respect and salute they way they are handling things at this time.

The mentality of smallwell is the same among many of them.

This interview in particular makes me sick.
He talks about making unconstitutional laws and then says that he feels the people will obey because they are law abiding.
That same mentality (as smallwell admits) means that he thinks/says that military and police would "just follow orders" because "he/they" made it a law.
A law has to be legit to be followed.

I can't remember who said it, but something like:
A good leader will not make a law that their people will not follow

    Talk about your charismatic candidate!

Are there a lot of voters in Manassas who still live in Mom's basement? Because they'd vote for this guy in a heartbeat. Kindred spirits and all.

What is a "Democratic Socialist" anyway?

Apparently this is what the country's coming to. Can I still get an exit visa, or have they closed the borders? No, wait, that was the National Socialists.

The DemoRATS have just doubled down on stupid!. If they try to fire any of the police who will not obey an illegal law where are they going to get LEO to replace the ones they fired? What happens in the mean time and it is against US Law to use National Guard to enforce state laws as well. They just signed their own arrest warrant if they pass that law as well.

The Virginia National Guard is the law abiding citizens of the state.
How many Jr commanders and soldiers stand down and refuse
to obey unlawful orders. we call illegal orders are orders that are unlawful.

Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) Article 90 states that military personnel need to obey the "lawful orders of his/her superior. The duty and obligation to obey lawful orders creates no grey area for discussion. But does the military member have a duty to DISOBEY “unlawful orders” including orders of senior officers, Secretary of Defense and even the President of the United States? The UCMJ actually protects the soldier in this situation as he/she has a moral and legal obligation to the Constitution and not to obey unlawful orders and the people who issue them.

These have to be strong examples of a direct violation of the Constitution and the UCMJ and not the military member’s own opinion.

I'm glad to see them pushing for all this; confiscation, firing the police who are defending the Constitution, calling out the National Guard, all of it. Let them show all their crazy cards. Hopefully this will be a wake up call for all the folks who don't believe their end goal is disarming all of us.
They are boiling the water first and then trying to drag the frogs into it.

From the original post: "any one of them, who, in concert with two or more other such employees," ... what happens if someone on their own decides to do or not do something? It is possible to have 20 people all doing the same thing, because they each want to do it rather than them being in concert with other people.

Not than I have seen or heard. I think the next steps are going to be critical. I think planning is in progress, however, until bills are actually passed those plans may not be revealed. ed55

All the more reason to keep a Republican in the White House. Remember what happened the last time Democrats tried to deny a group their civil rights using the National Guard? The President called them to Federal Service.
