Ah, I see. I’m a tech guy and can’t always get it to come out right...

So what are the dies converting? I can see a difference but searched and couldn’t find anything about about 6.8 conversion or 6.8/30

    Mark,

You should try Alliant 20/28 powder in your 28ga. I used Unique for years for my 28ga until I tried 20/28. You get more velocity for the same amount of powder and it appears my hulls last a little longer. As long as I can get it, I will not go back to Unique.

My reloading bench suffered from 2 years of me not reloading, which means it was piled 3 feet high with junk and clutter. Today I cleaned it off then went to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore store and bought three cabinets for the reloading bench. I was able to remove my reloading gear from my big steel ammo locker and put it in the cabinets at the reloading bench. I'll put up some pictures of the new setup in a few days when i'm finished organizing everything.

and their ya have it my first ever 500 9mm 2 hour tumble thank you again MDS OldNavyVet for the brass and Inkd for the try it before you buy it corn cob media

Fancy that and noted! Walnut has worked well for me, but I do have a bag of corn cob for a rainy day.

Primer pocket fouling in my pistol cases drove me to try wet tumbling. I got annoyed with the occasional tough to seat primers, and most of the time it was gunk-related.

However, there is something to be said for having that slight layer of carbon on the inside of the case, which acts as a lube of sorts. Wet tumbling with SS pins gets rid of that completely, so it's a little like reloading brand new brass every time. That's why I'm only wet tumbling every so often to get the buildup out of the pockets. I don't like loading new brass.

Bingo on this point. There are many reason that bench rest and fclass shooters dont wet tumble AND lube inside the case necks.

Looks good!! Did you mix some of the walnut in with it?

Yep,Maybe a bit to much rouge i think but still figuring things out .I say that because i found some red residue in some of the cases. I may also need to add more walnut not a big deal thought i could cut down some of the dust by doing so.

I guess it'll be a little trial and error.

Meh, reloaded 325 45 Colt while suffering the effects of my shingles vaccine that I got yesterday. :sad20:

That said, I checked every round before putting a bullet on top so I don't have one of those nasty, err, how you say? Kabooms.

:shocked3: Sorry to hear that, John. Anything associated with shingles is a PITA. Hope you feel better soon!

The vaccine effects makes some people feel like you have the flu. Aching muscles and joint pains, for me it lasts about two days. My doctor said some people only feel bad when they get the first shot, very few feel bad for both shots. I was one of the few!
